The San Francisco Bay Area has been a historic hotbed for Latin Jazz artists. From Cal Tjader to Armando Peraza, John Santos to Wayne Wallace. The Latin jazz tradition has thrived in the Bay Area.
It is from this tradition that The Afro-Cuban Jazz Cartel arrives. Led by drummer Brian Andres, the group was formed to contribute its own mark to that storied history.
Featuring Grammy Award winning musicians as well as esteemed music educators, the ACJC never fails to perform its music at the highest level.
Ray Obiedo and Friends - June 29, 2022

Ray Obiedo and Friends is made up of some of the Bay Area's finest R and B and Latin Jazz Musicians.
The centerpiece is vocalist Leah Tysse, who is prominently featured on a number of her self-composed songs as well as blues and soul classics.
The group fuses its collective knowledge by creating a uniquely electrified world of funk, jazz, and soul.
Qiensave - July 13, 2022

¿Qiensave? (Quien-Sa-Be) is a Cumbia Urbana group from Salinas, California with roots stretching back to Michoacán, Mexico. ¿Qiensave? creates high-energy dance music that has fortunately blessed the band with the opportunity to perform throughout California, Arizona, Mexico and Colombia.
While ¿Qiensave? has existed as a musical entity since 2009. Within the last few years, the band has picked up steam through touring, releasing their album “Mujer” in 2019.
In 2020 ¿Qiensave? released two singles. The first is a cover of Chico Che’s cult classic “Mata De Mota'', which features Los Angeles-based psychedelic cumbia band Tropa Magica, and the second single released is a retro-sounding quebradita produced by Eduardo Arenas of Chicano Batman called “El DUI”. In 2021 ¿Qiensave? released “La Poderosa'' on International Women’s Day, as the song is a celebration of all poderosa women who have supported the band along their journey.
¿Qiensave? late single “Para Poderte Olvidar” releases on October 2021, “Para Poderte Olvidar” is the story of a person doing everything they can to forget about their former love.
¿Qiensave? Consist of five members who are, Carlos L Cortez (Rhythm Guitar/Vox), Alejandro Gomez (Lead Guitar/Vox), Mario Cortez (Guida/Keyboard/Vox), Ricardo Cortez (Drums/Vox), and William Cortez (Bass). ¿Qiensave? has shared the stage with acts like Grupo Kual, La Misa Negra, Celso Piña, La Santa Cecilia, Las Cafeteras, Little Jesus, Fuerza de Tijuana, É. Arenas, Tropa Magica, El Dusty, La Ronda Bogotá, Bang Data, and several other bands.
Lilan Kane - July 27, 2022

Oakland-based soul singer and composer Lilan Kane is authentic, on and off stage. The sultry honesty in her voice is as raw as her lyrical stories of love, life and self-discovery.
A graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music, Kane has sold out numerous residencies at Yoshi's Oakland and SFJAZZ as well as performances at Minton's Playhouse (NYC), Chris's Jazz Cafe (Philly), French Quarter Festival (New Orleans), Concord Pavillion, The Mint (LA), Fillmore Jazz Festival and many others.
Kane has sung with Pete Escovedo Latin Jazz Orchestra, and opened for Hall & Oates, Lenny Williams, Freddie Hughes, The Doobie Brothers, Chicago, Sharon Jones, Trombone Shorty, and Morgan James.

Bay Area-based vocalist Masha Campagne brings an evening of the timeless sounds of Brazil. Campagne’s evocative approach has reached new levels of recognition when she partnered with Rio-born pianist/composer Jasnam Daya Singh (formerly Weber Iago) producing acclaimed 2007 Caminhos Cruzados and 2012 follow-up album Like Water, Like Air where Campagne emerged as a composer.
The lyricism & tenderness of Campagne’s originals have gathered strong critics acclaim. Her soulful portrayals of Brazilian bossa & samba effectively convey the concept of ‘saudade’; for the intimacy & wistfulness are truly Campagne’s gift!
