Lusyna was born and raised in San Jose, California where she resides with her husband Lionel, five year old daughter Islah and one year old son Apache. Lusyna joined Mission as a an interim classified professional in 2016 and transitioned to HSI-STEM in 2017, she is an alumna to Mission and provides a unique lens for her position.

Fast Facts

Lusyna loves coffee and considers herself a coffee connoisseur. She is a first generation college student and the first in her family to obtain a Master’s Degree. It is an achievement that is she very proud of and hopes that it serves as encouragement for her children, nieces, and nephews that they can achieve anything in life if they work hard for it.

Her interests include reading, being outdoors, and trying to cook new recipes on her spare time. She enjoys spending quality time with her daughter, son, and husband Lionel.
