Spring 2017 Hours of Operation: Monday/Wednesday 10:00am-7:00pm, Tuesday/Thursday 10:00am-7:00pm, Friday (Not Open)
Services currently available to students at the STEM Learning Center include: 
  • Chem Draw software is available for students to use on the four computers we have in the STEM Learning Center.
  • The STEM Learning Center is an area designed for individual and group study and has the added benefit of being located directly adjacent to STEM faculty offices.

STEM Learning Center Service Area Outcomes

SAO 1 – Students who utilize the services of the STEM Learning Center will maintain good academic standing at the end of the semester.  

SAO 2 – Students who take in part in STEM Learning Center workshops/activities will demonstrate an increased understanding of the presented content. 

SAO 3 – Students who utilize the services of the STEM Learning Center will identify the space as an inclusive, welcoming, and positive learning environment. 



NetTutor is an online tutoring resource that is available for free 24/7 to all Mission College Students. Access your Canvas account to login.

To access online tutoring, click on the NetTutor logo above. Three Modes of Online Tutoring Are Available to Students:

  1. Ask NetTutor: Connect to a live tutor for immediate assistance.
  2. NetTutor Q&A Center: Drop off a question and receive feedback from a tutor.
  3. NetTutor Paper Center: Submit your paper, lab report, or technical writing for review.

Major funding for the STEM Learning Center comes from the Federal Title III AANAPISI Part F and Part A Grant awarded to Mission College.
