TEDx is a program of independently organized events licensed by TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design), a renowned global media organization known for its conferences featuring short, impactful talks by experts and thought leaders from various fields.

TEDx events are organized at the local level by individuals or groups who obtain a license from TED. These events follow the same format as TED talks but are organized independently and often focus on specific themes, issues, or communities. TEDx events provide a platform for speakers to share their ideas, experiences, and expertise in short, engaging presentations.

"We are thrilled to host the inaugural TEDx event at Mission College,"said Mission College President Dr. Seher Awan. "TEDx is not just an event; it's a global movement that allows individuals to express their unique perspectives.
