From May 15 to 17, 2009, Mission College proudly held the 15th graduation exercise for one hundred and ninety-seven Mission College graduates at the Mission Heights campus. During the auspicious weekend, the campus came alive with laughter, smiles and wishes of congratulations as families, friends, teachers, staff, distinguished guests and visitors joined in to celebrate the achievement of the Class of 2009 graduates.

On Monday, May 25, 2009, the Faculty of Nursing Bangkok campus received a delightful visit from Dr John CS Tang, Mrs Tang and Ms Wannurhayan Saleah. They came with an astounding donation of 100,000 Baht to contribute to the Poeling Tritasavit Scholarship Fund. The scholarship fund, which started a year ago, has benefitted 20 Mission College nursing students. Dr John and Ms Wannurhayan, representatives of the fund, made this contribution in memory of their friend, Mrs Poeling, who served as a nurse abroad.

Nupporn and Rupporn Priyawat left Mission College in May of 2004 after spending 3 years in the Biology program here and joined the Biology program at La Sierra University in Riverside CA, USA. They both graduated from LSU with a BS in Biology in June of 2005, after spending just one year there. The US requires that all students entering US medical schools attend at least a year of their undergraduate studies in a US school, which is what prompted the Priyawat sisters to make their move to LSU.
