How much does it cost?


Program Fees & Payment


$2325 for 12 day excursion, January 13-24, 2014. This price includes airfare, ground transportation, room and most meals. Students are responsible for the purchase of items required for the trip. Students must also purchase their own trip insurance and provide proof of its purchase to the instructor.

You may wish to attend an Informational Meeting to see video footage from the

trip and meet participants. Call to find out when and where the next scheduled meeting is taking place.


STEP 2 RESERVING YOUR SPACE


Fill out a Tropical Ecology application and submit your deposit to reserve your space. The application may be found at

STEP 3 REGISTERING FOR THE CLASS


Sign up for BIOSC30, Tropical Ecology, a 4 unit Mission College Winter 2014 session class. Participants meet evenings and weekends in early January to learn concepts and techniques that will be integral on the trip. Homework assignments include journaling, web research, video worksheets and assigned readings.


STEP 4 PAYMENTS


Initial payment (deposit) of $500 is due October 8, 2013. Second payment of $825 is due November 8, 2013 and a final payment of $1000 is due December 6, 2013.
