Veterans Services Valor Center at Mission College

Welcome to Veterans Services at Mission College! It is our privilege to help and work with you in achieving your educational goals. We encourage you to contact us for inquiries and questions.

Valor Center Hours:  Monday - Thursday:  Open 9-1, Closed 1-2 pm, Open 2-6 pm. Tuesday close is 7 p.m. Friday hours:  10-4.

Summer Hours: 5-26 to 8-27
Monday - Thursday 10:00a-4:00p
Friday closed


New Calendar Announcement:   Beginning this summer, the Center will feature drop-in resources for Veteran OutReach Transportation, Employment Development Dept and the Veteran’s Administration Office in Santa Clara, all at the Veteran Service counter in CC240.

Also featured will be free Legal Counseling/Referral, specific Wednesdays of the month. 

New One-Stop Documents:  The Valor Center has a new home and a new look along with great technology resources.  Veterans can use computer workstations in an environment reserved only for veterans.  Veterans do Not have to be receiving Veteran Benefits in order to access services – the services are FREE to all Military Veterans. 


New Students:  Check it out

  1. High Speed Scanner and Printer for Veteran Student Use.  You can scan all those documents, save it to a flash drive and then fill out forms online, attach docs and you are on your way!  No need to stand in a long line.
  2. Check-in Computer.  Just put in your M/C ID # and click on the reason for your visit.
  3. Computer Workstations – All for Veterans.  You can check-into a course; write papers; do research; anything course related – all in the Valor Center.
  4. Educational Counseling – right in the Valor Center.
  5.  Outside Services Counter.  We will be posting a schedule for days in the month that specific services will be offered by Outside Agencies, including the Veteran’s Administration/Santa Clara; Veteran Outreach Services; Employment Development Dept for Veterans and; Legal Counseling
  6. Stay tuned for special workshops that will be offered.
Service Area Outcomes

SAO 1:  Student Veterans who use the Quiet Room will report that it assisted their ability to avoid stress on campus.

SAO 2: Student Veterans who access computer workstations, in the VALOR Center, will report improvement in their connectivity/participation in the campus environment.
