Jaqueline Talamantes is a proud first-generation college graduate with a double major in psychology and politics from UC Santa Cruz.
Jacqueline began working at West Valley College in Fall of 2021 in Admissions and Records. She moved over to Financial Aid in August 2022. Jacqueline’s work in both departments enabled her to develop a student equity framework to better assist students in completing any open requirements or processes.
Jacqueline is passionate about removing barriers for students' allowing for fair access to higher education. She transferred from Mission College in 2017 to the University of California Santa Cruz, graduated with her bachelor's degree double majoring in psychology and politics. Jacqueline currently lives in Santa Cruz with her 12-year-old daughter.
